Changing non halogen headlight to halogen headlight. HELP!

Hi all again.

I need your help please.

I am changing my lights to the signature evoque lights with the DRL.

So moving from normal bulb to halogen bulb.

I fitted them and they worked. The DRL works fine but the headlight turns off after they come on like a safety feature.

Does anyone know if it needs hard wiring or programming?

Please help as forked out £400 yesterday for a set.

I think the bcm needs to be told it has xeonon not halogen.
