Did you have the Dynamic tech pack?

No to the tech pack. It was only the sat nav extra in it which I didn't want to get bc to get new maps, u need to pay a fortune. Plus the tech pack would of pushed the price to $95k which is too much

Fair enough. Just found out wait times for a spec order are upto November now.

Already had to deal with the wait once.. I don't think I can do it again to be honest.

interesting especially when there are ought to be 284 evoques on carsales....looks like dealers are trying to sell stock they dont have

problem is they are either very high spec or they are too low spec and too generic. There's hardly anything inbetween that I like.

Close to none of the Pure's have sunroofs and if they do then they miss either the tech pack or the clearview pack.

The pure's that have the clearview, tech pack and sunroof also have about 20 other things that make the car priced at around $90k. I've seen a pure with keyless entry, 20" style 7s, panoramic roof, clearview pack, navigation, tech pack, electric seats and powered tailgate in petrol - ending up priced at about $90k!! that's more than a petrol dynamic with a tech pack and 20" wheels!

no wonder it hasn't sold!

My Car is at Austral AGAIN - for the third time. At least the Freelander they gave me this time was a 2012 model with 300km on the clock instead of the 2007 with 80 000km which they gave me in April.

I took the car in previously for the Bluetooth phone streaming and the loud clunking sound coming form the front. Well guess what - its back at the dealership to sort out the same problems for the second time.

I wish there was a second LR dealership in Brisbane because then at least I could take my car somewhere qualified to get the niggles sorted out. A tleast when I lived in Sydney I had a choice of atleast 4 differnt dealerships.

That second link looks pretty awesome! in fact its a really good deal - just need a 5 door thats all.

Not sure how much you could get off but my guess is that you could push them VERY hard. With the price reductions coming through, you could almost name your price.

Also, I am not surprised they are saying a November delivery for spec orders - they are only saying that in an attempt to clear floor stock.

Now, if I could only get my car out of the workshop I would then have enough time to sell it before the end of the tax year.

Yes, I agree, these dealers do not have an idea on which options to order with their cars. The min options for a Pure would be the Tech pack, Pano Roof, clear view pack and camera. Other add ons are a bonus but not necessary. They need to learn from all the customers for each spec level of the car and take note of what are the necessary and popular options. There is no point ordering options no one is willing to like or pay for!

Hi Spif,

I found Austral next to useless and went to Bruce Lynton on the Gold Coast. MUCH better product knowledge, delivery date and final cost. Perhaps you could try them with your problem? You can PM me for a contact if you want to go down that track?
