Car Issues - Update

well to be honest there is a firenze dynamic with the verve interior (black and red seats) that I'm looking at too haha! Not yet confirmed but at the moment contract says Fuji Dynamic haha!

petrol as well I might add.

Mmmm Dynamic, thats what you really wanted all along ha...looking good. Are these choices demo's from Barbagallo's? Are they 5-doors? and do they have the adaptive dynamic system? Cheers.

Hey Guys, VERY close to placing my order for an Evoque, jumping from the Volvo camp (have a C30, fantastic car, just miss the 4WD for snow trips)... Question: with all the problems, would you recommend the Evoque to someone who wanted to keep the car for 5-6 years?

You will be very happy with the Evoque. As you can see even those that have had issues still want to stay with the car.

My advice would be to take your time, test drive a lot and make sure you get the features you want. Unfortunately, unless you go for a Dynamic or Prestige, most of these featurs will be extra as the base Pure is pretty basic for the price.

sold the car for pretty much what I bought it for - but the person buying the car knows about the problems and I've agreed with him that I am going to get LR to get everything sorted out and fixed before I deliver it to him and he's happy with that. He said as long as everything is sorted out he doesn't care he's just happy to have it.

So still an evoque owner - just going to be a different colour and different body style - might prefer this dynamic to be honest! love the interior actually!

no its brand new - I was looking at the Indus demo but that was sold last week.

Unfortunately none of the cars coming through have adaptive dynamics even the new one's unless they are ordered. Unfortunately I can't really wait another 4-5 months to get one with adaptive dynamics and the cars in the eastern states have adaptive dynamics but then they're $100,000 cause they have everything else on as well which I can't afford.

yes 5 door. I can't have a 3 door - its a pointless car for me then and not practical at all.

Engine type? Wheel style? Sunroof?

Haha! No they already have it in stock. Went and saw it on Friday.

No sunroof at the moment but I'm looking for one with a sunroof and checking to see if they can bring it in from interstate if I find one. Nothing confirmed as yet but it's definitely going to be a dynamic and definitely an evoque.

So far it's the petrol. No SD4s or TD4s in stock and won't be for awhile. All sold out and they are trying to push the petrol engines cause they're not selling as well with the LCT etc

Chiggy, do you want to buy my car when it comes in in August? Hehe, only kidding!

how much did that end up costing you? if you don't mind me asking?

Dealer price including options was $91k, got it for $81k (plus 3 yrs free servicing), yiha!
