Build / Delivery Timescales

Have changed from Pure to Prestige and asked salesman for expected build / delivery dates.

He has emailed me saying that "the next order call will be july/august"...anyone know what that means and how that relates to build and delivery dates.

My dealer told me my Dynamic would be in their 2nd batch, even though I think I was the 2nd person to place an order there. I can still change my spec at the moment, but my build is due to be in September. I believe the first build is August for September delivery, so I'm hoping for delivery in late Sept or Oct.

Interesting. He says Im looking at end october delivery (which will be over 12 months since deposit paid) which I will be happy with, but dont really want it to drag on to nov/dec

My factory order paperwork says

Date ordered 2.6.11
Last date to change order 31.8.11
Planned build date 16.9.11
Factory complete date 14.10.11
Delivery date 20.10.11

Interesting.... I placed my order on 16/3/11 and the sales invoice says "Invoice date:15/09/2011"

Hmm, so you've got until the end of August to change to white, i.e. come over from the dark side

I called my dealer and he has given me a build date of 26/9. But says I can no longer change my spec???

So is the invoice date the same as delivery date?

It doesn't make sense does it. Charlie can make changes up to 2 weeks before the build and you can't even make changes now, which is around 9 weeks before your build. It makes you wonder if the dealers just make it up so that they have an easy life
