Bonnet Paint Damage

I've recently noted that on the top lip of the bonnet towards the left hand side the paint seems to have been scrapped and damaged. I can only assume that the left hand (passegers side) wiper blade is doing this when it's being used.

Anyone else either observed this or have the same problem??

This is the design (not a great one at that), you can't lift the passenger wiper up without first putting them in Winter Park or Service mode. Not great if a parking attendant tries to put a ticket under it, I wonder if you could sue for damage to your car by the parking attendant... Evil

afraid so... Sad ...
luckily (for me) this was discussed on here just before I got my car so knew about this design 'characteristic' from the outset.
one of the guys here (was it griff?) has modified the wipers to sit lower, and has swapped the passenger arm with another drivers side one, so that it will fold up and clear the bonnet leading edge.

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).
Collected, Friday 13th Shocked April 2012
