These look like they may be slightly thinner looking at the top and bottom of the letters?

Another option is to remove your letters and then get them painted in Black and then re-fit them, all you would need then is some 3m tape and a new scalpel knife to trim around the letters before fitting.

I enquired last week and was told 6 to 8 weeks for new stock to arrive, guess that's about the time for a slow boat from China!

They are far more expensive than others on e-bay but they do seem much better quality. I contacted one of the cheaper sellers and asked if the template was specifically for the Evoque or just 'generic'. The reply came back ' They are all the same, mate, init!' at which point I rang off.

It's very easy to make up your own temp plate before removing the silver badges. You need some card & low tack masking tape.
