Autocar test TD4 Evoque

In the same issue there was also a comment regarding the comparison between the SD4 and the Si4. Basically he said that after driving both he preferred the diesel:

'Didn't like it (Si4) nearly as much; it goes a bit harder, but there's an annoying lag followed by a surge from the turbo, whereas the oil-burner meters its torque exactly as requested'

Very suprised to read that as I thought all the journos would go for the petrol over the diesel, puts my mind to rest though
