It's a small icon in your address bar (like a page that's torn in the middle). It turns blue when you activate it, and it makes your IE9 behave like IE8. The forum software is not compatible with IE9.

Vision-R, could you make a post about this and how to get out of it in the Site news and announcements section as it is infuriating many forum users and not just the users of this forum.
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

IE9 bug now fixed, compatibility mode should not be required.
