Anyone "upgraded" bulbs on a Pure (Halogens)

I would be very interested to see some photos of an evoque with the phillips diamond vision bulbs if you or your mate does put them in. I have a similar problem to yourself, no xenons spec'd but are used to xenons on previous cars and dont want to be disappointed with the Pure's halogens!

I would like these too & would like to see some pictures when youve done it, but do UK cars not have to conform to EU regulations? Do these laws only apply if we drive on mainland Europe?

Especially over light colour , maybe if my car was fitted with a bent banana I would worry

Bulbs have arrived, i have not got a evoque to try them in but .....


I have got a JDM integra type r with projector headlights sat on my drive, it also takes the identical hb3 bulb to the Evoque.

The type r currently has an ebay hid kit iin, so i can get some pics of the philips halogen bulb vs a hid if anyone is interested.

Here it is on it first outing

Just changed the standard halogens for the Ring Xenon Max, don't match the DTRLs exactly but much better than the standard, definitely worth the £17.29 delivered price. You don't have to remove the light units to change, passenger side quite tight and fiddly but can be done, drivers side a doddle. took about 20 mins in total.
