RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Will do.

Been doing some research and manged to get a pic of the pins on a black edition HID light ( same as mine). But confused now though. Current light has 12 pins and in different places hence no plug and play. Here is my current headlight connector.

1,4,4,3 pins and 12 in total.

New headlight which is same HID Light

Top to bottom,

0 pins, 3, 5, 2, so 10 in total.

Get the pins may be if different the places but why 2 less wires.

I will end up getting an auto electrician to look at it. Just trying to do the ground work.

Hey Nick - Could you just confirm the rear lights were a simple plug/play switch over? Currently have a MY12 Evoque and love the facelift lights. Hopefully we can figure out the front ones as well!

Awesome - I'll be following suit and get the new ones ordered next week Cool

Any progress on seeing if the front ones are possible? I'm tempted to buy a days access on Topix to get access to all the documents assuming it's definitely in there - at least then we can see if it's possible or not.

Tempered to put my rears on but want to do it all at once. Is tempting though!

No progress on fronts. Ordered the front bumper, fogs, and grills of a 2016 dynamic lux, all the black pack versions from Dan at duckworth, but some parts on back order for several weeks. Won't really be doing to much until first week in March as week off.

Looking at the pics. Is that some kind of extension on the new headlight, or is it just the angle of the pic making it, as it is further out

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Must just be angle of pic. The earlier lights have this extension also. When I emailed Dan at duckworth Land Rover to ask about the headlight mounting bracket he said the new light is the same outer shell as the old one, just the internal drls are different. I didn't realise this but looking at them now they do look the same.

RE: 2016 facelift conversion.

Received some of my parts, but a few incorrect bits ( black pack fogs and front grill) so just waiting for this to be sorted. Also thought the black bull bar part of the bumper would be painted but it isn't so need to get this sorted that I wasn't expecting. Just need to find an auto electrician now.

This is with the black pack lower valance and black vent surrounds.

Thinking I'm going for these wheels as a split five spoke similar to the facelift Evoque wheel but with a deep dish.

10" wide and still 20s so with a 275/40/20 tyre will keep exactly the same rolling radius and tyre sidewall but fatter from the back!

Don't forget the the new DRLs now flash Amber for the turn signals. This may explain the extra pins in the plug and the change to the config
