2014 vs 2016 MPG & Sound System

Just changed from a 2014 2.2 to a 2016 2.0 SE tech. I have to say I'm really disappointed at the MPG as I'm only getting 40 which the 2.2 was giving me plus I now have to pour ad blue in to this one as well.
As for the sound system I think the stereo in my 1976 cortina sounded better! I can see I am a couple of speakers short compared to the meridian system in my last evoque but I had no idea how poor the system would sound. Altering the bass & treble hardly makes any difference?
Anyone else having similar issues?

I am not putting Ad Blue into mine- do not have the separate filler tube anyway! Mine is Td 180?

Yes that's correct no comparison on sound quality but there are some benefits with sat nav and voice commands.

If it's the 2.0 diesel it will require ad blue probably around 15k miles. Filler tube against the engine bulkhead drivers side.

RE: 2014 vs 2016 MPG & Sound System

Bear in mind that Meridian are true top end hifi makers..with active speakers etc... I couldn't afford their stuff in my house but could just about stretch to the 380 now it is not standard.. Another penny pinching change by JLR but I would not be without it after enjoying it in the MY12.
