It is also available on the JLR news website and from dealers, It was posted here but the link to the JLR news website that it was on isn't working.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

The new RRS didn't get the round one because of feedback from owners of the previous RRS. I quite like the round one and have no problems with it apart from it would be nice if it rose a bit faster and sooner

RE: 2014 MY fully explained

Maybe they weren't volume sellers and if they weren't selling then makes sense to rationalise the range a bit. I often wonder how many Pure/ Prestige Coupes with Couture interior and in Colima Lime were ever ordered, not many I bet! I doubt that Zanzibar Bronze will be a huge seller either seeing as it's only available on a Coupe and not on the 5 door.
I also wonder how many SE's are still hanging around in dealerships - I've only ever seen one on the road and it was a Black body with yellow roof 5 door. 3 of the 4 dealers I've be into recently have had one on display along with a couple of other slightly less extrovert Evoques but few seem to actually be shifting them

RE: 2014 MY fully explained

Why does the produce brief not mention Adaptive Cruise Control as a new feature?

RE: 2014 MY fully explained

Because it isn't being offered by LR on the Evoque or Freelander2 ................. I know, very very short sighted of them but have you seen how much it costs to have as an option on other makes? It's very expensive and possibly LR feels it wouldn't be a popular option. Also there is no option of a smarter HDDNav system with any of the options that have been suggested in the forums. Maybe they are saving it for introduction on the 2015MY cars with the supersmooth Hotfire engines

RE: 2014 MY fully explained

I think all the 2014 model year press coverage in August mentioned adaptive cruise control as a new feature though?

If you google "2014 Evoque" I think nearly every article mentions it.

Also, although the product brief doesn't mention it directly as a new feature, I think it mentions it in passing when discussing other things. (Not sure without going back to check.) (Edit: have now checked: I was wrong, nothing there.)

Or maybe it is the 2014 info. on the international site I am think of? (Don't have time to check right now.) (Edit: yes, international site mentions it.)
