Steering Wheel Issues after Software Update!!

Mine is a 2012 ( March) Pure 5 door. After about 6 months (I think) started having intermittent probs with the steering control stereo buttons. Sometimes the volume up/down/ forward /rewind worked and sometimes not.

One control that worked one day randomly stopped and then came back next day . No discernible pattern at all.

Car had to go in for the clicking arms ( warranty work ) and I mentioned the stereo control issue . Was told it had happened with someone else , dealer didnt have a spare control module so they opened it , cleaned and reseated and said any further problems they would order the module.

Havent had any problems in the 6 months since that fix. So , its a known issue .
