2012 Evoque Pure Plus - Mystery Squeak in Dashboard Area (USA)

Wow! I'm so glad that I checked here... I'm off to the dealer with exactly this issue (plus some annoying "tapping" coming from the doors) and was dreading trying to explain this in my less than stellar Spanish!

So, the noise from the windscreen area was from the covers over the A-pillars, which the dealer here replaced (as well as replacing all the door seals and the interior covers over the B-pillars to get rid of the continuous tapping noises). It's lovely to have a noise-free Evoque! The noises were affecting my enjoyment of the car much more than I realised and I'm grinning when driving the car now!

Kudos to Land Motors here in Barcelona. They did everything they could to make sure I was happy and were gracious all the way!

It's the outside A-pillar that's causing it. I had it on mine too never got it fixed but doesn't happen often.
