19" and 20" tyre prices

Or 'tires' if you reside on the other side of the pond...

Just about to order an SD4 5dr - and having the debate that many have had I'm sure - Prestige on 19" on Style 4s or Dynamic on those gorgeous 20" Style 6 rims...

Just checked the tyre prices on Event Tyressite - yikes! Shocked

19" tires are about £160 (GB pounds) a corner and the cheapest 20" items as £217 each (Pirelli Rossos) - so 4 wheel drive probably wears all 4 out together... Mmmm a compelling argument in my head for 19" rims Confused

Your ordering a £35k (ish) car and you're worried about £57 !! (per tyre obv)

£257 to replace a punctured Conti on my Merc 4 weeks ago and that was after quite a bit of bargaining.
Evoque No3: MY15 Dynamic Lux SD4, Auto, Santorini Black, Pimento Dynamic Plus Sports Seats, Ebony headlining, Pan Roof, Shadow Chrome Alloys.

I think thats cheap, try £325 + each for rear run flats for my 3 series Coupe!!!

Surely your choice of Prestige or Dynamic doesn't come down to Tyre size...? Choose the model/features you want, then choose the wheels you like.

If you're worried about 20" running costs or like me want to use the stock wheels for winters then you can have the Dynamic on 19" too.
