Is it the ambient volume sensor - you know, the thingy that senses the rising volume you get when increasing speed (tyres, wind etc) and increases the radio volume the faster you go?

I had all sorts of warning lights show up when my battery was on the way out. How old is the battery? Get it tested first for a dead cell. Have you tried a master reset?

It’s pretty standard on most modern LR's. There are a lot of electrically dependent systems on them that give out all sorts of faults with a low battery. Your van probably doesn’t have as much.
