Don't know your driving style, I had Conti's on my VOLVO, the front were good for 60.000km and the rear tyres were replaced at 90.000 km.
I don't think Conti's are bad.
I had Pirelli's on one of my BMW's and they were gone after 12.000 km...

Seriously though, they were on 2 VW and the Mercedes and I got no more than 20000k's out of them each. Biggest issue was I couldn't trust them. They were like Michelin Pilot Powers on my bike. They grip really well up to a point, but give you no warning when they were about to stop gripping (unlike other tyres). Catastrophic result on a bike at 170km/h cranked over half way through a corner.

24,000 miles on my OEM Conti's and about 1/3 worn with a lot of city miles on them. Extremely good handling wet and dry. My complaint is that they're puncture prone and the sidewalls are very susceptible to damage.

It all depends on the drivingstyle. But it seems like the Continentals does wear quickly when pushing the car
Also Clip said it broke loose quickly. So it is like a slick tyre

Just replaced my Michelins after 40,000 with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season for £140 each via a very well known online retailer.
Good tyres (very good grip etc) but starting to get very noisy with wear (especially on certain sections of the M25 - SWMBO even made me pull over to check the wheels were still attached once as it was so noisy :lol
I am hoping the Pirelli's will be a bit quieter?

25,500 on my conti's. Recently swapped fronts to rear and I should see at least 30,000 out of them. Seem fine to me.

Anyone tried the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV or the Michelin Latitude Sport 3?
Would appreciate feedback on Smoothness & quietness of these tyres. cheers.

I've decided on going with the new Pirelli P-ZERO PZ4. By all accounts, its said to be an awesome tyre in every respect.

Had the Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 tyres fitted yesterday, and they are brilliant!
New tyres will always appear to ride smoother, but these Pirelli's appear even smoother then i can ever remember throughout on previous Continental CrossContact UHP's....and the Pirelli's are definitely much quieter too.
Given these are flagship Pirelli's, i was hoping for exactly this.
The other tyres i was considering, were the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 and the Continental Sport Contact 5.
