Upgraded To Signature Xenon Lights (from Halogen) - jasons - 24-02-2015 10:31pm

Hi all those that are interested- first post on an interesting issue...

To recap I was able to pick up some Signature Xenon lights cheaply and I raised some questions as I had read on here and elsewhere that others who had tried this had no end of problems in swapping them over.

I plugged one in, and it all worked fine, so this morning I changed both over- it was a relatively easy job (followed the unofficial guide on youtube) and it took about 30 minutes from start to finish.

So, some pictures:

Not sure why I havent had any issues with the lights cutting out- my Evoque is a March 2014 model so I'm not sure whether that makes a difference.

I did have some relays ready to install if I did have errors/lights cutting out, but so far, all good.

Perhaps you have different versions of the xenon headlights, one drawing more current than the other and tripping the safety breaker
