I was wandering around facebook and saw an LED light fix I've not seen before. Does anyone have any experience with this? It's a 19 inch or 48.26 cm LED light bar mounted in the grille of an Evoque.

You can get a step by step install in an album on their Facebook page if you like. Just find Pure Evoque when you're in Facebook and look at their albums.

Note: Sorry the photo is so large. I just pasted it in from their site.

Would that be legal?

It's how you use it - This particular light bar is connected to the high beams, so is really only used for driver assistance and safety not to blind any oncoming vehicles. Texas has a lot of deer and dark, unlit neighborhoods. The light bar can be connected anyway you like I supposed. That would be at the discretion of the vehicle owner.Very Happy

It's on sale for $189.99 right now.

You can get LED driving lights and spotlights that mount on a lighting bar for a Defender, they are very good too. Those though look rather like a line of LED's like the MaxPower boys stick to their Saxos and small Peugeots!

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any links for the Defender with a LED light bar? If it's really low profile, I think that's a good option.

These are barely visible. They say you could actually hook them up to a designated switch and use them as needed, but these were tied in to the high beams here just for simplicity and no time to run a different switch that day.

Aj those are pretty cool looking and thanks for sharing...are they very effective, hard to see where they are aimed in your pic (down at the road like a fog lamp) or just more visibility at night?

Say, where did you get the grille without the Land Rover "Nipple" on it?
