New owner soon - Vader - 20-04-2014 10:26am

Hi, ordered my Evoque in Feb for a June delivery, trading in my focus ST. Can't wait. I've joined another Forum which lead me to this one?

Hi
Your miss the power of your st
I like the wifes pure Evoque , but I miss my bmw 135i that was traded in Crying
But. All said a 200 mile journey in the Evoque is a lot better for your back Laughing
It's strange I've been wanting some snow so it can come in to its own, and show it's capability.
Good luck
Kev

Triumph Stag is a nice bit of classic cruiser for the sunnier days though

Yes it nice to slowdown and cruise with the roof off, and the noise it makes is fantastic being a V8

Which Evoque have you ordered? Si4?

No, ordered 9 speed Auto diesel. Never had an auto and getting old now so went for one. Gone for a pure but spec'd up with reversing camera, pan roof, privacy glass, front fogs and powered tail gate, would've like the power fold mirrors just for the puddle lights but cost was a factor! Never had a brand new car before and waiting 4 months for delivery is a nightmare, just hope it's worth the wait!

Only 4 months - that's no time at all when buying an Evoque!

You will enjoy the 9 speed auto, it is so much better than the 6 six speeder and the fuel economy (I ran a six speeder auto for 2 years/ 23000 miles) is, with my sort of driving, vastly improved. Compared to my 2011 launch day car the 2014MY cars are noticeably quieter. Just keep checking that when you go to a fuel forecourt that you put the right filler nozzle into the filler!

I think it'll be the wife who struggles with the fuel, I have a Caddy for work so I should be fine.Rolling Eyes we test drove a 9 speed and loved it, we were going to get a manual! Just can't wait to get it
