Not washed ours for six months, I've so gone off the car, looking for a replacement but can't find anything we want, more excited about getting a new 500 sport tomorrow

I feel sorry for people like you z4lfie, and others, who either don't like the car, or its let them down in some way.
I still grin when I drive it, still look back and smile when I park it - I love this car so much ❤
I was worried about spending so much on a car at the beginning, but now both myself and SWMBO have said we probably will when it's time to replace it (although we intend to keep it for a long time), and by then the new JLR R&D set up will probably have produced some 300 mpg hydrogen hybrid !

Just done my winter prep this weekend. Wash with gtechniq, sprayed with Iron X (omg) washed again, clay barred, rinsed, then 2 coats of gtechniq C2 v3. It looks and feels amazing.

Note on Iron X. I thought I would give this a go as last time I clayed my car I noticed that it didn't remove all the specks on the paint. These looked like tiny orange spots, mostly around the tailgate area but also on other panels.
This stuff really stinks (bad smell). Apparently when it converts the contaminants it turns purple. I then sprayed the tailgate. There was sooooo much crap stuck to the paint that it was nearly all purple. Other panels were similar. I could not believe how much crap was on my car. Brilliant product

Speary, checkout the 3rd pic in post #195 here http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-My-Fuji-Dynamic-SD4-Manual?page=20 this was my bonnet after cleaning then sprayed with Iron X, as you say the rear is just amazing how much attaches itself.

It's incredible how much contaminate Iron-X removes, at least with white you can see this really well, but it'll be on any colour.

Dakargo - Please keep detailing your car - it does wonders for our weather and the skies for the last week have almost matched Mauritius Blue were I am!
