This looks great. I bought my plastidip at Home Depot in the states. Wasn't expensive at all! I plastidipped a few items on my car as seen on the Facebook page PUREEVOQUE - they give a screen by screen demo there - and I've been to the carwash many times with no issues to date. I hope to do my wheels next. Thanks for sharing.

I am very keen too!! Getting my Fuji white dynamic in Jan, plan to mod the front and back range rover badge and wheel.
Are you north or south of the river? And where you get the dip in WA? I don't think it is commonly available in Perth.

There is a boat shop in Kingsley that sells the aerosol cans. They are listed on plastidip.net.au as a distributor. I am SOR. January isn't far away now Smile

Ok, thanks!!
Been waiting since August....can't wait anymore!! Laughing
Did you plastidip the badge or you bought the black letter?

My Plastidip Style 6 Wheels - Jai - 01-12-2012 04:41pm

I brought black letters and fitted them up. I removed the old ones using a hair dryer and a myer one card Smile I did each letter individually, I didn't use the included cardboard template. Used some orange citrus spray to clean the paintwork. If you do the badges ASAP then they should come off easily for ya mate

Although it looks labour intensive, that method is as effective as using the template that some suppliers provide.

My Plastidip Style 6 Wheels - Jai - 01-12-2012 06:56pm

The template that came with mine wasn't perfect, some letters would line up ok but were not centred in the template, or some letters would be far right and some centred etc, thus leaving me with no reference point to know exactly where they should go. So the masking tape method did so I used that instead.

This is awesome!!

Has anyone got any updates on how well the plastidip held up long term?

Also, how easy is this stuff to remove if you want to go back to the normal silver? Hopefully you do have to really try to actually peel it off but once you start it's not too much of a pain to remove!

Cheers,
