The LR system can compensate for a certain amount of difference in the rolling diameter but Volvo's system (stolen from the Freelander too when Volvo were part of Ford's PAG) cannot cope with any where near as much as a Land Rover's. It's all down to the superior offroad ability IIRC

Thanks Tim I'm guessing there is a RF receiver on each fender to pick up each TPMS. My Lexus only told me that there was a low tire but not which one. But I never rotated them because the front and back tires where different sizes

If the Evoque doesn't tell you which corner it's likely there's only 1 receiver, or 1 receiver front and back, and it just receives 4 sensors on startup and locks these in for the journey when the car starts moving, as that's when the sensors will likely start to transmit.
