Cheapest feeling quality on the Evoque - Jonathon555 - 06-07-2012 09:44pm
Well , i have pressed evey button & checked as much of the interior for quality
Until i opened the glove box, this feels do cheap & light weight
Feels more like a kia or such
Why does it not have soft opening or a weighty feel
This realy is not in keeping with rest of the interior feel
Anyone else noticed this !

There are already around a gazzilion threads about this. It has been narrowed down to: there are those-that-hate-the-glovebox-and-because-of-this-the-car and those-that-can-live-with-a-flimsy-glovebox-because-the-rest-of-the-car-is-gorgeous.

I have only opened the glove box about twice in 6 months, so does not really worry me, but do agree with the cheap feel.

Could make the difference of another tax band in the UK, makes a heavier glovebox door suddenly very expensive for an owner over the lifetime of the car........... At least it isn't made of papier mâché (yet) I suspect it is one of the bits made from recycled cola bottles!

The glove box feels cheap
I have never given it a second thought. Get a life man.

No, that's the rear wheel arches!
(I'd call them 'wheel arch liners' except there isn't any wheel arch behind them!).

Indeed they are the wheel arches. As for the glove box lid, it's fine.
