Price rise - SimonS - 30-04-2012 04:32pm

Just a heads up for those thinking of placing an order in the UK. In conversation with my dealer this afternoon he mentioned that they had had notification today of a price rise on the Evoque effective from this Friday (4th May). I don't know the exact details for the various models but he did mention an extra £910 on the Prestige.

How does that effect us who have deposits paid and orders in process?

If you have paid a deposit then "generally" LR will hold the old price up to a cut off date - you will have to contact your dealer to find out though as no-one has posted when that is yet

My dealer told me they would hold the price if it was ordered prior to April 23rd. Just made it!! Price rise is approx £750 on a Pure.

Is the price rise due to change to MY13 model, or just a general way of getting more money from us ?

RE: Price rise - Urban Splash - 01-05-2012 08:50am

£995 increase on a Prestige. As of this Friday....

Does this just affect prestige or other models.

Good for residuals for early adopters.

Normally LR will quietly start phasing in the next year's MY from August/September, those ordering less popular versions/ colours getting cars that are run out stock in the previous year's spec BUT with every Evoque being built to order (either a customer order or for dealership stick as they are no built on "spec") I wouldn't expect to see 2013MY cars coming down the line until late September or October. With Evqoue still being less than 12 months old I doubt that there will be many changes for 2013 anyway - the car is still selling too well to need any incentives to get people to have the latest upgrades
