At a loose end - J77 - 20-03-2012 05:39pm

Day off today and was at a loose end so took the Evoque out for a little drive and took a few photos while I was out. Photos taken on an iPhone and it was rather dull so quality not the best.

Lol, it was a great day for a drive - I had a blast up the A9 from Stirling to House of Bruar and was overtaken by a Fuji 5 door Dynamic between Auchterarder and Perth, it then turned of towards Perth and the M90 and I went on north. I think the owner is a member here as I'm sure I have seen the private plate in a photo of the car. No time for photos though - it's one of my favourite drives at this time of year before the touring coaches and caravans hit the roads.

That was up by the old Cults brickwork and eventually ends up at Burnturk, Sitting in that particular spot gives you excellent views across to Pitlessie and surrounding villages. On one of the photos you can make out a white building that is the Village inn (get a nice meal in there). At one point there was a rutted road that took you down to Pitlessie but that has now been closed off at the top, took my Disco 3 down it once and even in full off road height it was grounding, so definitley not for the Evoque.

When you spend your working week picking up passengers its nice to just jump in the car alone and drive somewhere.
Here is the same spot but with the old car.
