I learnt from the Golf forums that the correct response would be:

Moar lower!!! (sic)

I opted for the Direnza springs dropping it 45mm! Plenty of room still left to play with and fingers crossed have no issues to report as of yet.
I paid £135 for the springs and paid a friend £100 to fit them.
I do have terrain response and dynamic mode etc which I believe alters the suspension but the springs have no affect on this what so ever so I am told.
The second picture makes it look a lot lower than it is due to the rather steep entrance to our driveway.

I will try and get some more pictures tomorrow to give you a better idea.

Definately going to consider going with bigger OEM wheels eventually.

Does your mate want to do mine? Wink

Would any of you on that side of the pond be willing to ship a set of the Direnza springs 35mm springs to me? Or perhaps point me to a retailer stateside? My internet querying is not finding any results.

Instead of searching in a .com search engine try using the same search engine name with .co.uk after the name and you will get the UK version of the search engine. Google.co.uk should give you Direnza's UK website or you can try this link https://www.direnza.co.uk. Many UK companies will do exports worldwide.

I can order direct, but not paying £100 for postage. I will go with another brand for that cost.

You could ask them if they have an outlet/ agent in the USA though if that brand is important to you. I don't have a copy of any of the specialist Land Rover magazines to hand but there are companies on the East Coast of NA who specialise in Land Rover mods who advertise in a magazine called Land Rover Owner International (they have a website too). I'm not sure of this but I think one is called something like North Atlantic Rovers

Thanks. I will search around. The only other springs I have found are H&R with a 30mm drop. I was wanting a bit more. The H&R are easy to get though. Even contemplating the 45mm drop, but would like to see that one a vehicle without the running boards. Living in Colorado, we have some funky drive over the curb driveway entrances. Not a full curb, but definitely not smooth either. I am pretty sure the Evoque will be fine. A lowered sports car on the other hand is likely not going to make its way into my garage.

Very nice CH11PY
Thought entered my head as well, the middle of the year I loaded the boot up with 24 boxes of tiles 15 in a box size 500x150 and it looked a lot like yours lol ... And I stood back and thought how nice it looked that little bit more lowered

Hi CH11PY_H now that you have had these springs on the car for a few months and they should have fully settled; can you let me know how the ride has been? Any negatives?

Any up to date pics?

Hi

Sorry for the slow reply i often forget to check my posts.
I am still loving the lowering look, but the ride does seem quite firm I think. But nothing I'm not used to after having other lowered vehicles.
I have developed a knocking noise coming from the near side front which is driving me mad. Planning on taking my side steps off the weekend and wheel spacers to see if it stops.

Need to get some updated pics, haven't been nowhere exciting to take any Sad
