£56,000 Evoque or £60,000 RRS? For 2017MY RRS will be available with the 4 pot Ingenium 2.0lt power plant. It also doesn't get the low range gear box or air suspension but for a small consideration to LR you can spec them as an "Off Road Pack" with the 2.0ltr engine. RRS also has 19 new colours in the offerings that include some spectral metallics for a mere £6000 additional cost that aren't available for Evoque owners. So would you go for an Evoque Autobiography or a 2.0ltr TD4 HSE RRS? If you wanted to pay a bit more for the RRS then you can have it with the V6S/C petrol engine for 2017MY as well which might be a better bet tax wise with the rumoured tax hikes pending for new diesel powered cars in the UK. BTW the 2.0TD4 RRS runs a similar AWD system to Evoque and F Pace so it still remains a 4wd vehicle and no signs at the moment that it will have a FWD option like the ED4 Evoque. Is the TD4 RRS HSE really what was hyped as the Grand Evoque a couple of years ago?

2.0 Diesel engine in the RRS will be a disaster. It won't pull the skin of a rice pudding in the Evoque!

Don't think there is anything wrong with my 2.0 it's just disappointing after having a 2.2. How much adblue are you putting in yours?

It's to get around EU Fleet emissions rules that it is being made but it will appeal to those who only use their car as a shopping trolley or for the school run when 2WD and zero off-road capability would suffice and those who are badge snobs and want to have a "proper" Range Rover which many don't see Evoque as being as it is perceived as being a small car............... BMW and all the other makers are going in to small engines for the same reason.

Adblue non so far but I don't do big miles. Was worried about the 2lt oil stove feeling gutless as its my first ever diesel. But I've been pleasantly surprised by it not as guck as my golfr was but very torque'y pulls well only every drive in S thou.

When I bought mine the dealer/landrover said the adblue usage would be 1ltr per 1000 miles....I was surprised when I had to add 10 litres at 5000 miles....guess they have used the same calculator as the one used for the fuel consumption!!!

Smaller engines are the future unfortunately.

10l at 5000miles seem to be correct as the LR adblue* page suggests 1 litre per 530 miles for the Evoque and for the RRS: V6 - 1 litre per 560 miles, V8 - 1 litre per 400 miles.

The VW Passat is rated a more realistic 1.5 litres every 620 miles.

Of course you've got add the BS disclaimer: *AdBlue usage is dependant on driving style and supplied figures are indicative only Twisted Evil

Add in that to keep the vehicle weight down LR added the AdBlue tank and reduced the fuel tank size.............. By the same amount as the AdBlue tank holds.
