RE: What is your current car?

I had so many probelms with my last Evoque that I sold it back to the dealer and 9 days later drove out of their showroom in a car that makes the Evoque look like it was built by the 1970's FIAT Starda robots. It is a 2015 Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic with only a couple of options on it. After running a nearly perfect launch day 2011 Evoque it was really diasappointing to have bought a lemon as the 2nd one. The RRS is the third I have owned, the first was also a launch day car from 2005, then what was my best ever all round car a TDv8 RRS which was a fantastic car that lived up to the Sport moniker, but the latest lightweight more powerful, toqueier and way more fuel efficient and easily outclasses even the superb TDv8. The Solihull built cars used to be ridiculed for their shoddy build but Halewoods products are way worse than Solihull's earlier products. The 2015 RRS is way better built even than the 2010MY TDV8 FFRR Vogue I ran............. in fact so good I'm considering changing the 6 months old 2000 mile RRS SDv6 for an SVR to luxuriate in in my pending retirement. Soory but Evoque no long hacks it on the quality front and is most certainly being built to maximise profits with poor quality parts and shoddy build that should not be there is such an expensive small car.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: What is your current car?

Maybe we should start a Poll, what car did you buy after your Evoque Tim... Wink

Ok I still have my 2011 Evoque, and it's still near Perfect, but I've since bought an AMG Mercedes C220d.

MY12 Fuji Dynamic SD4 Manual, Pano Roof, Electric Tailgate with own Close module
