Dog Guard

Has anyone got a dog guard for a 5 door - or recommend one?

Thanks

Hi I have an official Evoque dog guard which is brand new, it's a full day job at the dealership to have it fitted which is why I've never bothered. Cost me over £200 but selling for £125. Collection would be best as it's heavy but could be posted at some cost I imagine.

RE: Dog Guard

Thanks Evogirl I've been doing some research and everything I've read about the official one is not good. Hard to fit and poor fit especially. I really want to have a dog guard that simple to put in and out not one that has to be installed by the dealership. Seems like the after market guards are better

We bought a TravAll aftermarket one (was about £100 a couple of years ago). It rests on the two "loops" that the seat backs attach to when vertical and the seat keeps it in place. This makes it a doddle to remove when you want to drop the seats. In the time we have had it it still look as good as new.

I would recommend though investing in the genuine LR bootliner (we bought from Dan with a bit of discount). It is deffo worth the money. In two years this has had bricks, trees. muddy dog, kitchen sink etc on it and it has no tears or snags and you can just chuck it in the washing machine every few months. The fit is excellent and keeps the boot looking new when the dog is doing its worst to ruin it with mud and wet fur...Very Happy
