UnLandRovering

Looking at my MY13 RANGE ROVER I'm not too keen on all of the LR badges, think I need to go back a bit and replace them with RR badges.

The main ones for me is the grill and the wheel centres. Realise it's not just me as the MY13 grills go up for sale regularly.

Snobby? Maybe.

I replaced the wheel centres and tyre valve caps with RR ones during the week.

RE: UnLandRovering

Pre-2013 grilles will be going up in value too. Strange how VW/Audi, Mercedes and BMW owners are proud to show off who the maker of their car is yet Evoque owners don't want to show off the maker of their car......... I'm proud to have the one Land Rover badge that my car has on the outside, I just wish it had come with a few less Range Rover badges stuck and etched on it - I think I counted 12 on the exterior alone which is milking a brand a bit hard.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: UnLandRovering

I was at the pre-launch of the new Range Rover Sport two weeks ago and I noticed the emblem on the screen at start up is now the Land Rover symbol and not Range Rover!

Until I read it here I didn't realise the newer Evoques had the Land Rover badge on the front!

RE: UnLandRovering

So in the LR stable there is Defender, D4, FL and Range Rover? (FF, RRE & RRS being specs?).

I see RR as a brand in itself.
