I have Tyre Pressure Monitoring on my car and the brochure states that it can only be specced with certain wheel styles. I now also have a set of style 3 19's to fit winter tyres to but according to the sales brochure this style is not one that can be specced with TPMS.
Seeing as the LR TPMS is a different, metal valve stem and not an internal sensor why could it not be fitted to another style of wheel?
At £220 for a set of 4 transmitter stems I will be somewhat cheesed off if i have to spend the winter with a warning light up on the dash all the time and have to go outside on a Monday morning to check tyre pressures manually...............
