So that is 3 against and Griff sitting on the fence so far then?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Sport Stripe

I had one worse than that - an all white Rover 220 Coupe............. it came from the factory like that and a few months later went back and i got my money back as the dealer could not stop the targa roof leaking whenever it rained (and that's very often up here!)

I have got photos of both the XR3i and Montego somewhere Charlie I'll see if I can get them on here...hopefully I wont be in the pictures...the 80's weren't the best for fashion!!

Can anyone beat Tims Rover?

RE: Sport Stripe

I had a neighbour who had a black XR3i, looked lovely until she thought she was so cool sticking Barbie Pink coach lines around every panel................ In my opinion that might be worse than my white TomCat

RE: Sport Stripe

My evoque would be clean of lines or stripes, i think one car in the garage striped (the Mini Cooper S) is enough Smile The cleaner it is, the more prestigious it is methinks.
