Service Required

I have come to the end of my 5 year service plan on my RR Evoque and the next service is now due. My question is do i need to take it to a RR dealership to have this service carried out or can i take it to my local garage and have it done. If yes what are the pitfalls of this would he be able to access and update my service history.

RE: Service Required

Yes you can take it to any garage but I would highly recommend finding a Land Rover specialist indie. They won’t be able to update the electronic service history and will just issue you with a paper report that you will need to file. My next door neighbour takes his Mk1 Evoque Pure to our village garage and I also take my 1996 Defender to them, they are Land Rover specialists and look after every sort of Landy product.

I would suggest that if you don’t know of an indie in your area you place a post in the general section or even on the Defender2.net Disco3.com or RRSport.co.uk forums because I know that question gets asked a lot on those sister forums to this

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
