it positions the wipers a couple of inches up from the bottom of the screen.

Apologies if I've missed it but what is the benefit of the wipers being parked up a couple of inches?

RE: Saving your wiper blades on frosty mornings

Yep first morning I owned the car it was frosty and the dealer had left the wipers in Auto and I hadn't even used them to realise it was in Auto, so when I pressed the Start button up they went scaping their brand new edge over all that frozen ice, luckily the frost was light so no chance of the wipers frozen to the screen!

On this setting do the wipers drop back to the lower position once the car is moving?

Also with the wipers parked higher up the screen, due to the way the mechanism angles work they have more torque to move in that start postion than they would if parked at the bottom.

Saving your wiper blades on frosty mornings

Hi all, two quick questions.

Is the heated front window standard on the Dynamic? Can't find it listed on my spec, UK model.

Can someone explain how the heated steering wheel works, how long does it take to heat up, how hot is it and can you keep it on all the time? Smile Just curious because for £180 I decided it was worth ordering.

Thanks!

The heated screen is in Tech pack 8, the heated steering wheel is very good, warm and toasty in a couple of mins ad you can leave it on as long as you wish. Im glad I got it when i ordered my car.
