Electric Seats & Mirrors - £900 +205

has anyone been able to find out any more details on the leather?

Thanks!

You forgot to add the cost of the memory mirrors = £205

The leather is exactly the same leather as in the standard UK Pure .... i.e. full leather ..... its just you SAVE £10! The option packs in the Evoque are designed to save the salesmen ink .... not us money.

BTW The black leather I saw looked very nice. It looked like standard BMW grained leather i.e. absolutely fine.

So LR have quoted a standard item as a feature of a cost option; somewhat deceitful in my opinion. Mad

Your line ‘The option packs in the Evoque are designed to save the salesmen ink .... not us money’ is a classic but disappointingly true. It deserves a Laughing for you and a Evil for LR!

I don't think I have ever come across "packs" when speccing up a car that don't save you money - maybe that’s what LR are banking on i.e. we all assume there are savings. Saving £10 on a pack on £30K+ car really is nonsense / insulting.

I agree 100%. I've seen option packs on Audis and BMWs that 'save' hundreds of pounds compared to buying the individual items within the pack. A £10 saving from LR is taking the p!ss. Is this typical LR or LR taking advantage of the current high interest in the Evoque?

More likely that someone at LR mis-used a calculator and didn't check their adding up and thinks we're saving more than that !!

I had originally included the £205 for the mirrors then noticed that they are included in the £900 for the electric seats - see the screen capture below.... so if it is the standard leather then the style pack is £195 more than the individual items!!!!!

Also has anyone else spotted the difference between the £205 folding mirrors and the £340 folding mirrors... before you say it's the heating and the puddle lamps check out the "Find out more" on the £205 mirrors...

RE: Pure Grained Leather - anyone seen it?

This is yet another unpublicised change to the standard spec. Again - if anyone has ordered elec seats and elec mirrors, speak to dealer for 'refund'

Folding mirrors ordered when having specced Electric memory seats (£900).

Folding mirrors ordered when having NOT specced Electric memory seats.

I think the word "includes" should be "requires" because as soon as you add the seats it gets you to add the folding mirrors.

But doesn't the above imply that u now get the mirrors included in the £900

RE: Pure Grained Leather - anyone seen it?

Yes i saw the mirrors thing too, as I'm up speccing a Pure with options, rather than a prestige or pack added.

Seems odd.
