Night mode

I've only had my evoque since sunday and tonight was the first time driving in the dark. I found the satnav way too bright for night driving. Is there a way to dim it or change it to night colours? I've looked in the manual and can't find anything.
Thanks

and you can dim all internal lighting (dash/buttons/radio/console etc) using the adjustor above your right knee.

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).

RE: Night mode

I prefer to turn the screen off if driving along way at night, you still get sufficient info from the screen between the speedo and rev counter.

If you go into the settings part of the home menu then you can set the design of the screen saver (I use the outline of the Evoque that you get from the mirror downlighting). So when you are driving at night you can hit the bottom left hard key to switch off the display and get your choice of screen saver (Lr Badge, black screen, RR Evoque), a second hit then switches it off altogether, but keeps the radio, sat Nav etc on. If you need to view the screen then just hit the on/off button again or hit the Nav, Radio etc key on the right.

Trust this helps

- Keyless Entry, Privacy Glass, Auto dipping Interior Mirror, 825W stereo

Yep this is a very effective "night mode". I make two presses of the bottom left button (') any time I am driving in the dark.

There is also a setting in 2014 cars which allow you to go into stealth mode!

RE: Night mode

In either the screensaver or screen off mode, there's no need to stab at the buttons in the dark - touching the screen wakes it up. (2013 MY)
