RE: New Gear Box?

Hi Stadt. Are you in the uk. Leadtimes seem to be around 6-8 weeks but I know they have a factory holiday soon which will delay 2 weeks. I will probably order end July for a delivery in October I hope. Really hope the gear box is announced soon as I cant wait much longer to order. Need to sell the BMW before winter.

Fern - I heard about that potential strike too. Lets just hope it gets sorted.

RE: New Gear Box?

Latest I heard was that introduction of 2014MY Evoque may be delayed until November.
For those of you desperate for a 2014MY with 9 speed then I'd make that a condition of your order to guarantee you get the gearbox you want, along with the other changes that may be coming.

RE: New Gear Box?

Thanks RichardLeigh. Does that mean if I put a deposit down say in July I could request a MY2014 with 9 speed and receive it November. Assuming that is that it is available on a November delivery.

Thx RR

Sounds good Stadt. You must be pleased with it then if you want another one Smile

RE: New Gear Box?

That's how it should happen.
Just make sure your Salesman makes a note that the 9 speed box is a must have or no deal.

RE: New Gear Box?

Didn't I read something about the 6 speed still being available and 9 Speed being an option?
Could be wrong...
