RE: MarkA_'s Speccing up

If your car is going to sit outside and not going to be garaged then I would recommend the heated steering wheel, you might think it a bit of a waste of time for 6 months of the year but it only needs a couple of frosty mornings and the BMS to decide that the heater is a lot too much electrical load and only allow it to warm up slowly but you will still have toasty hands and bum from the seat heaters and steering wheel.

You are right about the Inteligence Pack - I opted for it as well.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: MarkA_'s Speccing up

Can't comment on 2014 specs and not familiar with Intelligence pack other than a cursory look, but sounds like they'd be in there.

Could be different, but I don't think the premium seats will be perforated, yes they are Oxford leather which is a softer feel. Understand the sports seats.

I like having the Pano roof just makes it feel more airy, and you dont get the ding ding ding of rain on the alu roof and it adds to the exterior look well on a white one anyway, but the choice is yours... it is a possible liabliity too.

Congrats for LBOJ...

The Standard Stereo is very good, infact to upgrade to it on the Jag F Type is an £800 option! the next level may be better still, but a lot of the cost is in surround sound for DVD, not really a requirement for music, yes it'll sound a bit better and give you a graphic equalizer, but you are in a car environment not your living room.

The front seats definitely are perforated on my14 premium interior pack.

The 2014 product brief says so, and Anthony confirmed while I was there as well.

Mark

Agreed with regards to light and airy. I do like it, but if I specced it the build would be approaching 54k and that is more than a basic RRS.

RE: MarkA_'s Speccing up

There is a 1700w Meridian system available for the L405 FFRR! 825w system was powerful enough for my ears. If the 2014 Premium seats were not perforated then there wouldn't be any way the aircon could get to where it is needed!

The perforations don't go all the way through! Wink
