MPG in real life >> eD4

Drove like a granny, don't think I will ever see it again though.



Not a great picture, not done any scientific calculations to see how accurate it is.

Trying to decide if your driving is worse when you drive like a granny or a bus driver!

-Any infos about the engine/manual shift/clutch stifness ?
-What about the Leather/Suede seats ?

i have the pure with the tech-pack (incl. full leather/5")
manual is good enough and sportier..... (manual gearbox in the TT was slightly better)

first the lowering/widing, wheel paintjob and the roofwrap

Second journey of 150km has seen marked improvement from 12l/100kms down to 9. Or in uk terms from 24 mpg to 32. So definitely needs a good running in. Hope to see closer to 40mpg in next couple of months.

NB: Topic refers only to eD4.
@Jos/Pedalpower: what about driving, steering, comfort, clutch stifness, engine noise, etc. ?
And the most important feature: MPG in progression...

Good mileage, considering the heavy weight, the enormous front section of the car and the "big" engine (2200 cc).
What about your driving style? Heavy foot, "normal" driving, granny?

I did a long run the other day, 400 miles round-trip and got 56mpg chugging away at 65-70mph with the trucks in the inside lanes.

In more normal driving at "usual" motorway speeds I'm getting 45mpg give or take, depending on the amount of stop-start. This is after 3500 miles running in.
