I have purchased the RR oval badges and just want to make sure I swap them out correctly. Also, can you just change the oval badge on the rear without changing the oval holder for the badge?

ThanksVery Happy

i used fishing line like a saw then goo gone cleaned with alcohol and applied new ones

A hairdryer on the warm setting aimed at the badge for 5 minutes is enough to soften the adhesive and doesn't risk any scratching.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Allow at least 10 seconds per fit though Wink

Laughing thanks, I'll be sure to check my calendar for an appropriate time slot for fitting. Wink

I take it they don't protrude by sticking them directly on top?

Thanks FFTim. That's the method I've used for removal of letters on both the Evoque and Sport. Then buffed with a rubber grinder to remove any hard to remove glue. I just wasn't sure about the oval badges.

Hi Deegraham0,

You asked 'I take it they don't protrude by sticking them directly on top?'

The front grille badge fits superbly well within the original housing.
The rear is still good but ends up close to flush in the housing.

I am fussy and you would never know the mod had been done in this way.
