LRX Concept

Just been watching the concept videos again (sad) and was surprised how similar the concept and the Evoque are. Almost identical exterior. Odd how little of the interior followed across when the exterior is so exact.

RE: LRX Concept

IIRC the only changes needed to make the exterior roadworthy was to change the razor blade mirrors for what we have and to lift the bonnet leading edge 25mm for pedestrian safety (oh and to create a 5 door version for those worried about getting in and out of the back seats!). Yes it's a pity that a lot of the interior didn't make it to production, but it was a "show" car not destined for production when it was shown................... or so LR claimed!

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
