RE: It's raining Zanzibar

Rumoured to be leaving the colour chart in January - GREAT choice of colour, it hardly shows the dirt and it's hard to see the squashed bugs on the bonnet too BUT I've found in the warm sunny weather we've been having here it seems to attract pollen something chronic - you cannot see it until you sit in the front of the car and then all you see in front of you is a bonnet covered in fine yellow dust - and bird poop does show more than it did on my Fuji White Evoque. The black wheels that everyone said would get dirty very easily don't, they go a bit matt but they don't ever look dirty with road dirt but I live in fear of scuffing one. And it looks great in the sunshine.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: It's raining Zanzibar

I've heard from folks who have recently visited Halewood that huge numbers of Zanzibar Freelanders and Evoques are rolling off the production lines, so expect to see more of them around. There was a photo of a Zanzibar Freelander2 in land Rover owner International magazine recently and the colour really suits Freelander2.
It does look nice on a sunny day but not everyone's dream colour. Here's mine this week after 2 weeks without a wash and it's really quite dirty but doesn't show it, even the black wheels are surprisingly clean despite a trip up a muddy forest fire road
