RE: Is your Evoque your only car?

We are one of the owners of a TT (S) that's switching to the Evoque. For us it's neither about the practicality or having a family on the way (a bit old for that - I hope!), it's simply that I think the Evoque is a fantastic looking car, and I just had to have one (will miss that power though Sad ).

SD4 Prestige Coupe Auto, Fuji White, Pano roof, Park assist, Powered tailgate, Style 6 alloys, Element interior, Adaptive Dynamics. Build date: WAS 21/10/2011 Delivered 13/12/2011
Now: Evoque SD4 Coupe
Gone: TTS Roadster
Gone: Mini Cooper S
Gone: Mercedes SLK

If you think you will miss the power then opt for the Dynamic Petrol version as it achieves 0-60 in 7.1 seconds, same as a FFRR or RRS 4.2 Supercharged, and for a car that weighs 2.3 tonne when filled with fluids, 90% fuel and a 75kg driver that's mightily impressive! Thumbs Up

Quit work - Get some stuff - Go somewhere - Have some fun

RE: Is your Evoque your only car?

7.1 secs is pretty good, but wont replace the sensation from a TTS - TTS is something like 5.2/5.3 secs standard. A reasonably low cost map will bring that down to high 4s. TTRS is 4.6 standard, and a low cost map, will bring that down to mid to high 3s - quicker than most porkers, and even many supercars like R8s, etc.

Styling can be compared, but not performance (unless you compare with the diesel TT).

Current Cars:

- TTRS Roadster | Phantom Black | Aluminium Pack | Bose | Ipod Dock | 19" Titanium Grey Alloys | Through Load Facility
- Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Coupe | Firenze Red | Panoramic Roof | Towbar | Satin Brushed Centre Console

Currently have a RRS 2.7d thats going for the Evoque, the wife lugs the kids around in it. I have a BMW I use for my business interests and over the last five years has been up and down the country clocking 136k at the moment.

Spot the Evoke Dynamic SDi!

I'm bored so I'll play along with this.

Am guessing at the following.

1 = German an AMG Merc

2 = Italian an F355

3 = Japanese a Nissan GTR

4 = German, Golf Gti Edition 30 ? Not so confident on this one.

And 5 we know is the Evoque.

Forgotten about this... Close!

1 Mercedes SL55 AMG
2 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
3 Porsche 911 (997.2) turbo
4 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon
5 RRE as per signature...

Evoque was great, now in an RRS SVR

RE: Is your Evoque your only car?

The Evoque will replace eventually the Freelander 2HSE which will/should be sold long before the Evoque comes home & join these below :-

MG ZR-Express Van-2005 Special Factory Order that I would not sell ever unless I recieved a serious price/offer.
Rover 25GSi ---2006 One Of Last Registered with retro fitted WILTON carpet & sculptured alcantara door cards, it is also a fun/economical car to drive & it extreemly clean & tidy for a 5.5 year old car. It also has only ever visited a garage for a service!
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 - Birthday present from my wife in 2010 & is for MG Shows & Sunny Days out Only. It is also a rolling restoration (of love lol & probably never ending!!)

Came Home On 02/03/13 Pure Tech In Barolo Black/Cirrus Trim with Bespoke Firenze Ascents + Numerous Factory Options!!
Also :-

Rover 25GSi - 2005 Everyday Car.
MG ZR-Express Van - 2005 Special Factory Order (Literally a one off).
MG Montego 2.0i - 1990 Shows/Sunny Days.
MG Metro 1300 - 1983 Being Restored!
