Importing CD's

Hi there picked up car yesterday & it's great!

Just one little question though as I can't seem to find the import button when I put a CD in. I am sure when my sales guy went through the controls an option to import was there but I just loaded a CD in & cant find the option anywhere?

Any help?

RE: Importing CD's

At the risk of giving a RTFM response Wink (page 122).
press the "+" symbol next to 'my music', and then a new set of options will appear, to the right at the bootom of the list you'll have 'upload'.

Quote:1. Touch the My music + icon to display all
options. Select an option.
.....
5. Upload. Applicable to Stored CD menu only.
Select to view and manage the CDs loaded
into the Stored CD memory.
  • Select Upload alongside an empty slot
to upload the current CD. There are 10
    slots available.

Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).

RE: Importing CD's

Hi Andy,

I've just had a look at a copy of the owners handbook and there is a section called 'Portable Media', it's on page 124, however it may be on a different page in yours.

There should be an upload button on the right hand side of your screen when the CD has been inserted (see photo below). The operation stated in the handbook is as follow

- Select Upload alongside an empty slot to upload the current CD.
* There are 10 slots available.
* Upload to Stored CD is available only when the loaded CD contains solely CDDA files.
- If the Stored CD memory is full, select replace to overwrite an existing CD.
- In each case a confirmation pop-up will appear. Select Yes to continue.

I hope this helps, if you have any further questions send me a PM and I'll be happy to help where possible.

Thanks,
Nick

RE: Importing CD's

Just tried again & no option for import comes up? Maybe it's the CD?

All I get on the right hand side is: -

Settings
Track List

RE: Importing CD's

I'd say try a different CD to rule that out.
Is it an original or a copied CD? (From above..... * Upload to Stored CD is available only when the loaded CD contains solely CDDA files.)

RE: Importing CD's

It should get that info from the onboard cddb (gracenote). So unless its a copied cd, or a brand new one... It should do?
