RE: Off to halewood again tomorrow.

Quick report :

The compound today was alot emptier than last time I went, it was full of mainly black, white & silver cars . No blue or green cars at all. Only a few ipenema cars & Red.

Here are all the pics I took.

Here are the ones of interest , these cars had much larger bore single exhaust pipes that faced downward. Much bigger bore than the SI4 cars & the SD4 cars tailpipes.

Next up is the Orkney grey cars :

RE: Off to halewood again tomorrow.

Thanks Jonathon,

Two observations - the second pic with the single exhaust has no model designation. That could mean either engine badge removed or it is a North American spec car (they're all Si4's but none of them have the engine badge)

Second, re the OG cars - am I right in thinking the 5 door pictured is a Pure? The 3 door dynamic looks so much better.

Current: SD4 Dynamic Auto, 5 Door, Orkney Grey with Black Contrast Pano roof and 20" Shadow Chrome wheels. Pursuit interior. [countdown="Hand over"]15th June 2013 2:00pm[/countdown]

Gone: Si4 Prestige Auto Coupe, Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof, Element interior, Shadow Chrome 20" wheels with most of the bits & pieces loaded. [countdown="Hand over"]29th November 2011 2:00pm[/countdown]

Dont think the Americans are getting a Pure with 18" wheels on

Downturn exhaust normally denotes a diesel, I reported on my last visit that I had seen a TD4 with a single exhaust down turned.

This puzzles me as the bore of this pipe is about 3" ish, the bore of the TD4 single straight chrome pipe on another thread is much smaller

No, they are not - but Canada standard spec Pure is 18"...

According to my dealer and LR themselves, available from November now.

Available to order from November, for cars delivered in Jan/Feb at the earliest. Info confirmed by T&C Aberdeen, as I was looking to change my order, from Firenze Red, to Mauritius Blue, but am sticking with the red for confirmed delivery in mid December.

5 door Pure SD4 auto in Firenze Red with Tech and Style packs + Bi Xenons.

The Style 7 wheels look fantastic, very happy with that! The Red looks great, still prefer the grey but anyone getting the red is going to get some envious looks!

It looks as though the single larger facing down exhausts with the rolled edge are for the 2.2 Diesel probabally Pure Evoque.

Good to see the grey Pure. It's made my mind up on buying a black grille & vents.
The grey on grey, is abit too much.

My dealer had a Buckingham blue 5 door Prestige delivered today. I must confess it looked like Black with a hint of blue...... just as Barolo looks black with a hint of red. That’s fine if you want that look ..... but if you want a Blue car you might be a bit disappointed.

SD4 Prestige Sport Auto 5 Door, Sumatra Black with Ambience interior, Magneride AD, 20" Style 6 Wheels, Panoramic Roof, Surround Cameras, Electric Tailgate, ADRVM.......& Heated Steering Wheel......Gorgeous
