RE: Gearbox problems or turbo lag?

Hello all , I havnt been on here for a while (to busy working).
I too had the momentary lag when pulling out of a junction, and had a few scary moments .
Needless to say I booked the car in but there were no software updates required (Delivered Jan 2012).
But the service department sorted it there and then by doing an 'Adaption reset' -took about 20 mins and I was on my way again- Evoque is perfect again..... BFN. Q'man

I've sometimes had a momentary lag but I put it down to being on a slight incline and the hill assist brake had been applied ns that takes a short time to come off before pull way - just putting this out there as a possibility of what is causing this issue.

Sadly I sold my Evoque because of this problem. I still maintain that the car I first test drove before buying had no such problem. I assumed it was an auto only problem and was looking at replacing my old evoque with a manual version but after reading this thread it appears that manual owners also suffer the problem. What a shame LR, other than that you had a great car, cross evoque off the shopping list.....
