I'll pretend I'm falling asleep next time I'm on the motorway to check! Wink

Turns out she needs some tailgate driving lessons!

Gee, shopkeeping must be paying well where you are Tim, that's a £100k Car!!!

RE: G.Damn the tailgate!

I had my doubts as to the truth of his claims, I had heard of Q7 V10 TDi's and V8's but not V12's.......................... thing is it looks no different from any other Q7, until he opened the bonnet and there is not one square millimetre of space in there! He claims to have got a huge discount for taking it off Audi's hands, apparently they didn't sell too many of them and it is now discontinued. Inside is duller than ditchwater too, beautifully built but acres of black plastic look alike leather - it looks like the old Benztex fake leather but it is the real thing.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

He must be shifting a load of Irn Bru, Haggis neeps and tatties. Laughing

There’s no getting away from the fact that the Q7 V12 TDI is a ridiculous enterprise. The Q7 in more modest trim is a very hard car to justify building or buying, but like this it’s nothing short of insanity. If you want epic scales of performance from a car, you want a sports car that also handles well and will fit round corners. The Q7 doesn’t. It simply can’t. And if you want a seven-seat SUV, then presumably you have three or more children and definitely won’t want to be showing them how the 420mm fibre-reinforced ceramic discs can brake you down from a cheeky tonne in the blink of an eye. Remarkable, the Q7 V12 TDI is. Sensible, it isn’t.
