Fuel tank size

Hey guys,

Was looking at the french site that has the comparison of the Evoque vs BMW and it specifies that the Evoque has a 50 litre tank. That sounds really small. The FR2 has a 68L. Anyone heard what the actual size is.

Cheers

Don't worry, even at 50l it's soooo light and green that you'll get 900 miles to the tank !

900miles - really Shocked

An interior may be Posh but it is never a Becks, as that is a beer - and neither are cool.

RE: Fuel tank size

I hope it's not 50l as that would put my off buying one a bit.

In my FFRR I was getting about 600 miles to a tank and I am currently getting more in the new car. 50l means usable 40/45l which even at 45mpg would not give enough range. Sad

I'd feel like I was spending half my life in the fuel station!

RE: Fuel tank size

Agree with you Fox, it needs to have a 600 mile range at least which would mean a 65lt tank if it can do 45mpg. In my current TDv8 FFRR I can drive from Glasgow to Southampton or London on 3/4 of a tank (Ok so it's getting on for 100ltr tank) - I suppose they make the tank a bit small so that the weight is kept down and thus there is less CO2 penalty

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Fuel tank size

So that's 570 miles on a full tank in the sd4 auto if the figures are true. Which they probably not. £82 fill up. Not too bad bit not spectacular
