Changing the display on a dynamic

Can anyone help I wanted to change the display on the screen from Range Rover to Evoque. I have selected the set up menu and then screen and then EVOQUE which highlighted but when I come out and the ignition is swithched on it is still showing Range Rover, do I need to save the last setting? can anyone give me a step by step guide to change. I believe the Evoque display is an outline of the car.

Someone is going to shoot me down in flames and prove me wrong in a minute.

But isn't the Evoque silhouette a wallpaper and is only there when you turn the display off, I know that I have done this and set it as the analogue clock.

The strange thing is when you tap the EVOQUE command the silhouette is displayed in the box but it does not retain this at least not on mine???

RE: Changing the display on a dynamic

Just for you Acorn I have braved the freezing cold and pouring rain here to see how it works on a 2014MY........... I think you are missing out the final step.............. after selecting Evoque you have to tap on the "back" button (the curvy arrow) in the top left corner of the screen to make it remember the choice rather than pressing the home menu hard key, at least that is how I get it to remember the change on my new car.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Changing the display on a dynamic

Here's what I understand.

Press the set up button on the left hand side of the touch screen.

Then chose system, wallpaper, select the Evoque image and accept.

If you then turn off the screen you get the Evoque silhouette.

It only appears when you turn off the touch screen.

RE: Changing the display on a dynamic

Talking of screens , the lcd display showing fuel gauge etc failed on mine so I now have a blank space between the speedo and rev counter. Oh joy, here we go for some dash rattles as they dismantle to fix it.

Cheers

Hi Yes I have sussed it out now. I was hoping the Evoque Silhouette stayed there but as you say only when you turn the home screen off. problem solved thanks everyone.
